The objective of this article is to understand and explain the implementation of a Rolling forecast, as an innovative tool for budget management and its contribution to performance management within a large Moroccan public company.
That's why, we carried out an empirical study allowing us to make a judgment on this method and its contributions in terms of financial performance, it is a confirmatory quantitative study through the establishment and distribution of a questionnaire with 18 management control managers.
The data analysis is carried out using the SPSS software and the verification of the hypotheses is elaborated by the Chi-square method. The results confirmed that budgetary control via Forecasting contributes positively and significantly to improving the financial performance of the entity, as well as it significantly impacts the reduction of the differences between the forecasts of an annual production program and the achievements of the year in question
